Bayor Audio OKTA
Opis
A compact, highly efficient, and compact concert system, Rider is a Polish audiophile. It features a symmetrical design with the tweeter section centered. Designed specifically for the specific needs of Polish sound reinforcement companies.
Smaller companies need small, lightweight, and highly versatile sets. Therefore, OKTA will perform at a small event, stacked or suspended, and at larger events outdoors.
With 12-18 units per side, it's a powerful enough tool for even larger events. The Okta's sonic and performance qualities are on par with those of international brands. Standardized configurations allow engineers working with Okta to be more confident that their equipment is always set up correctly.
The system is found in the riders of many Polish artists, and those who do not specify it usually do not refuse to play.
The system includes:
- OKTA broadband modules;
- frame for hanging modules;
- OKTASub sub bass;
- powersoft drive;
- Lake processor.
The OKTA broadband module is a compact, high-efficiency concert system component, constructed in a symmetrical configuration with the tweeter section in the center. It is made of hardwood plywood coated with polyurethane. Its small size and lightweight combined with high efficiency reduce shipping and handling costs, which is crucial in Poland.
Each module features two top-of-the-line custom 8"/2"VC midbass drivers with a double-wound voice coil, a neodymium magnet, an efficient cooling system, and a demodulation ring, made for Bayor-Audio by FaitalPRO.
The use of eight-inch drivers with custom-made baskets allows for a speaker height typical of modules equipped with 6.5-inch drivers. This means the speakers' acoustic centers are more closely aligned, resulting in a lower crossover frequency, greater coherence, and greater range. This makes the system more versatile.
The eights are accompanied by a highly efficient and sonically neutral FaitalPRO 1.4"/3"VC driver with a neodymium magnet and efficient cooling system, housed in an isophase waveguide terminated with a constant-directional horn with a nominal horizontal dispersion of 110 degrees. Vertical dispersion depends on the array configuration.
The transducers used in the OKTA system are characterized by increased resistance to external factors such as moisture, salt air, temperature fluctuations, and UV radiation. The manufacturer guarantees their full repeatability, and each transducer has undergone a comprehensive testing procedure.
The mid/high crossover point is set extremely low: 860Hz. Okta typically operates with the subwoofer/midbass crossover point set at 90Hz. Depending on the configuration and the type of material being reproduced, full-range operation down to 55Hz is also possible.
Parameters:
- Each module contains two top-class 8"/2" VC midbass drivers with a double-wound voice coil, a neodymium magnet, an efficient cooling system and a demodulation ring.
- They are accompanied by a very effective and sonically neutral 1.4"/3"VC driver with a neodymium magnet and an efficient cooling system, placed in an isophase waveguide terminated with a constant directional horn with a nominal horizontal distribution of 110 degrees* (vertical distribution depends on the array configuration).
- The division is 860Hz
- The system is typically designed to operate with the crossover point between the subwoofers and midbass at 90Hz or lower depending on the configuration and the type of material being reproduced.
- ARF >83% for HF, >98% for LF
- Full-band operation is also possible (woofers are a design with a very large linear excursion)
- Efficiency (single module): LF = 98dB/1W, HF = 111dB/1W
- Impedance: 16Ohm LF, 16Ohm HF
- Weight of a single module: ~21kg
- External dimensions: 200x700x391 (H x W x D)
- Finish: Polyurea coating.
