The Linea Research Advanced System Controller is  a powerful and easy-to-use signal processor for public address systems . With 4 inputs and 8 outputs, it utilizes the latest analog-to-digital conversion and DSP technologies to deliver pristine sound that stands out from the competition.

The advanced  96 kHz DSP processor provides a range of unique and truly useful features . Because all DSP algorithms used are designed and hand-crafted by Linea Research, they are not available in products from other manufacturers. For example,  the phase-neutral LIR crossovers  are as  easy to use  as more conventional filters and  have  lower latency than FIR filters.  The powerful VX Limiter package  also  supports  peak, RMS, and excursion limiters,  as well as  multiband filters for passive 2-way enclosures.

Support for AES3 and Dante™ analog  inputs  and having both  analog and AES3 outputs , all under full remote control, makes  the LSP448 suitable for use in the most demanding applications , especially where flexibility is paramount.

Used as a loudspeaker management system or digital crossover, the LSP448 delivers state-of-the-art convenience and performance. Its ability to receive, process, and transmit audio without leaving the digital domain makes  the LSP448 an ideal central controller for large systems , even when using amplifiers with built-in DSP.

Ethernet is provided for  remote control , while the front panel, optimized for harsh environments, allows for  complete local control  of all functions. Control via  the intuitive Linea System Engineer app  provides many convenient and time-saving features, such as highly flexible preset management and system-wide grouping of mutes, gains, delays, and EQs.
